STAR MAN was created from Richard’s radiation mask used in the treatments to cure his throat cancer. He wanted the bronze sculpture to include colorful fused glass, the sun, moon and stars, and important dates that were significant in saving his life. Richard was invited to the studio to assist in the creation of his meaningful sculpture. Key words from the blessing we began with in the studio while creating Star Man are written on the inside of the sculpture – Come together, Celebrate life, Strength of spirit, Gratitude, Connection, Love and Healing.
